Druk Asia and The Department of Tourism of Bhutan have partnered with The Exchange to host an enchanting evening filled with Bhutan’s mystical tales, breathtaking natural beauty, and a tasting of a limited edition K5 whisky – a unique blend infused with natural Himalayan Spring waters and Bhutanese grain spirits. These will also be Bhutanese snacks including momo dumplings and the National dish of Bhutan, “Ema Datshi“.

- Tales and Wonders of Bhutan: Delve into Bhutan’s spiritual heritage through stories that intertwine the kingdom’s natural splendor with its deeply rooted traditions. Learn how Bhutan’s unique spiritual practices are seamlessly integrated with its pristine landscapes, creating a harmonious environment where visitors find peace and happiness.
- K5 Whisky Tasting: Sample the K5 Premium Blend Whisky, an exquisite whisky originally crafted to commemorate the Coronation of His Majesty the Fifth Druk Gyalpo, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk. The K5 is a blend of Scottish vatted malt, high-quality grain neutral spirit, and natural spring water from Bhutan.
- Cultural Insights: Learn more about the flavours of Bhutan with some inspired snacks, and Bhutan’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Carissa Nimah will also share more about their spiritual concept of “Neykor,” which means pilgrimage in Dzongkha, Bhutan’s national language.

About Executive Chef Jenna White
With her 14 years of experience living and working in Asia, Chef White has created a cutting-edge culinary experience that puts a daring twist on Asian- fusion cuisine. The Exchange has also recently introduced a new menu, with a special highlight – “Damn Spicy Chicken” bar bite, a sensation that sets taste buds ablaze. Bite-sized chicken pieces, fried to crispy perfection and tossed in a wok with garlic and a medley of green and red Sichuan peppercorns, offer guests the choice of spice level from 1 to 10, ensuring a fiery kick tailored to individual preferences.
Hailing from New Zealand’s esteemed wine-producing region of Hawkes Bay, Chef Jenna White embarked on her culinary journey at the age of 17. With an impressive career spanning two decades and global culinary influences, including working alongside renowned chefs like Peter Gordon and Dean Brettschneider, Chef White has become a driving force in Singapore’s culinary scene.
As the Group Executive Chef for Tadcaster Hospitality, Chef White oversees four brands, showcasing her expertise not only in culinary arts but also in patisserie and bakery. A passionate educator, she shares her knowledge through workshops, masterclasses, and training sessions, inspiring the next generation of culinary talents.
Chef White’s creativity and expertise are further showcased in her cookbook, “Cook: Food to Share”, co-authored with Dean Brettschneider and Helen Burge, offering a glimpse into her culinary world and inspiring food enthusiasts worldwide to explore new flavors and techniques.
