Amid a sprawling 900-acre landscape of rugged mesas and rust-colored sands, Camp Sarika has introduced a series of curated multi-day expeditions to experience Utah’s breathtaking canyon country. Guests can enjoy experiences like gourmet dining beside blazing campfires, storytelling under the stars and access to a wide range of immersive activities in the desert heart of Utah. Central to this new offering is The Big Five Adventure, a dynamic exploration itinerary inspired by Africa’s famed wildlife-focused “Big Five.” This adventure showcases diverse ways to experience the stunning landscape, from challenging via ferrata routes and off-roading in UTVs to aerial tours of nearby national parks like the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and Zion.

Conquer the Heights: Via Ferrata
Experience the thrill of via ferrata, where networks of cables and ladder rungs weave through mountain terrain. Expert guides lead guests of all abilities through various routes, offering insights into the area’s captivating geology and fossil-rich cliffs.
Navigate the Waters: Boating on Lake Powell
Spend a day exploring the rock-carved waters of Lake Powell aboard the exclusive Axopar 37 boat. This eight-hour adventure includes paddleboarding, fishing, and underwater propulsion devices, taking guests to remote locations like Wahweap Bay, Padre Bay, and the iconic Castle Rock and Cookie Jar Butte.
Journey to the Depths: Canyon Tours
Led by experienced local guides, the Slot Canyon Tour traverses three stunning canyons: Upper Antelope Canyon, Rattlesnake Canyon, and Owl Canyon. This three-hour hike reveals the hidden beauty of narrow passageways and sculpted sandstone formations.
Marvel at Nature: Aerial Tour of National Parks

First Encounters:
Designed for first-time adventurers, this three-night itinerary features slower-paced activities, including sunset cruises on Lake Powell, gentle hikes, nature-based wellness experiences, and expert-led stargazing sessions.
Wilderness Immersion:
This comprehensive five-night program offers a full spectrum of outdoor, wellness, and cultural adventures, including horseback rides, open-air yoga atop Tower Butte, and Navajo-led storytelling and campfire singalongs.
Each adventure package includes full-board accommodation at Camp Sarika, with activities scheduled from sunrise to sunset. Guests can enjoy a private open-air dinner at the camp’s atmospheric Raven’s Nest, a fire-lit rocky hollow nestled into the Entrada sandstone, creating a memorable final evening for all three journeys.
